District VI Honor Band Weekend 2024-25

Honor Band Details

Registration Fee: $20.00 (includes an Honor Band t-shirt) -- payable when you register (cash, card, Apple Pay)

Location:   Dixon Hall, Tulane University

All students must have their own:

Music

Pencil

Instrument (including reeds, valve oil, mallets, sticks, etc.)

Rehearsal Notes:

Cell phones are not allowed during rehearsals.  Please keep them out of sight until breaks.

Lunch Notes:

The Food Court at Tulane DOES NOT ACCEPT CASH.  Bring an alternate form of payment, or bring your own lunch.

Food delivery services have been extremely unreliable when delivering to this location.  We strongly encourage you to use the food court or bring your own lunch.

Concert dress:

"Sunday Best" or Semi-formal attire

Appropriate tops

Slacks or modest skirts/dresses

Please no jeans, shorts, t-shirts, logos, tennis shoes, etc.

We will have a Reading Rehearsal on Tuesday Jan. 28, 6:30 - 8:00 pm @ Haynes Academy

Enter near the Haynes Gym (4300 Division Street, Metairie, LA 70002).

This date is not a required part of Honor Band Weekend, but it is strongly recommended that all Honor Band musicians attend the rehearsal.
