Second Round Auditions will be held Sept. 28 at Brother Martin High School.  (There is a $15.00 fee per audition.  Students auditioning on multiple instruments must pay the $15.00 fee for each audition they play.)

Second Round schedule to be released shortly.

All students must turn in this form, or they will not be allowed to audition.

The Second Round Audition for 2023 will be a "Live Monitored Audition" which will be recorded and forwarded to LMEA for scoring.

Orchestra

This year's All State auditions will use LMEA's Set IV materials.

Students will report to Ben Franklin High School (2001 Leon C Simon Dr, New Orleans, LA 70122) to record their audition.

Audition dates are available as follows:  (You will pick one of these days, and then contact Mr. Carl LaCoste to schedule your recording time.)

Fri. Sept. 22

Audition times after 3:30 are available on those days.  Mr. LaCoste may also be able to record you during the school day -- contact him to schedule.

There is a $15 audition fee per student, which must be paid before you audition.  Please bring cash to your audition.  (If the online payment portal is activated in time, we will forward the link.)
